Rob Macrory

Coach Macrory is a Montgomery, AL native and a 1993 graduate of Jefferson Davis High School where he led the Volunteers to the 1993 6A state championship and garnered All-Metro Player of the Year honors.  He then went on to letter 4 seasons at Auburn University, playing on two College World Series teams as a second baseman and  hitter with dynamic offensive capabilities.  Macrory was drafted in 1997 by the St. Louis Cardinals and played 4 seasons in the Cardinals’ organization before an injury ended his career.  He served as an assistant coach at Auburn University in 2001-02, and has been coaching hitters in Montgomery since 2003.  Macrory and his wife Vivi reside in Pike Road, and have two sons, Preston, and Hutson.
