Mike Hale
Coach Hale graduated from Northview High School in Dothan in 1982 where he was a standout infielder and pitcher. He then moved on to Wallace Community College in Dothan where he played for the legendary coach Sammy Frichter as a two-way player on the infield and the mound. He graduated from Wallace with an AAS degree in electronics. Coach Hale also has years of experience as a coach in both softball and baseball. He has served as a softball coach for the Montgomery Maniacs, White Lightning in Birmingham, and the Huntsville Sparks Gold travel softball teams. Coach Hale has also served as an assistant baseball coach for the Montgomery Dirtbags travel baseball team. He has also enjoyed a long, successful career as an IT/Computer Programming Specialist. He has two adult children- a daughter, Kayla, who set the school record for homeruns at AUM, and a son, Tyler, who is an Auburn graduate in Engineering.
